Triumph launches new sports bras exclusively at LessBounce

UK sports bra specialist LessBounce is full of beans, having announced the exclusive launch of two new sports bras and re-launch of two old sports bra favourites from Triaction, by Triumph.

The new bras are the Hybrid Star (pictured) available from 32-40 B-F, in white or grey with pink time at £40 and the High Performer available from 34-42 B-E, in black or white at £35.

Triumph launches breast workout ever

According to a recent global COIN survey commissioned by international lingerie brand Triumph, it was revealed that 78% of UK women have concerns with their bust. Sagging breasts was the major issue with 46% of women in the UK concerned about this (and 32% of women globally1). In addition, a second national survey, revealed that half of us (49%) would like to change the size our breasts and many of us, especially in London, are envious of our friends’ breasts.

Triumph Inspiration Award winner announced

It seems competitions are the only thing worth writing about right now. In fact Bra Selector’s homepage is beginning to look like an ITV TV schedule. However, it is with good reason that we’re covering the Triumph Inspiration Award in the UK – time for some uber-fashion lingerie ideas.

Just last week on the 10th June at a dazzling catwalk show hosted by style guru Nicky Hambleton-Jones, supported by a live set by model DJ Ben Grimes, Isabella Newell from Central Saint Martins was named the winner of the UK National Finals of the Triumph Inspiration Award 2010 with her design Circus Freaks. Aisling Farrell of Central Saint Martins took second place with Sacred Geometry and Kate Burreddu of De Montfort University came in third place with her design Podtastic. Triumph’s new Tweety bird sleepwear

Triumph will launch a new “Tweety by Miss Triumph” range of lingerie for younger bra shoppers for spring / summer 2010. The lovable little yellow canary who was created by the American animator Bob Clampett in 1942 will appear in a capsule collection of six home wear designs, each with a special hang tag, within the young “Miss Triumph” label.

Triumph opens autumn with retro lingerie

Seductive shapes, romantic materials and vintage colours are the key trends as Triumph revives 1950’s lingerie and brings it right up to date with design twists and the latest materials in a collection called “Newstalgia”.

The importance of texture is displayed in extravagant, semi-transparent laces and delicate ribs. Pearls, buttons, bows, ribbon lacing and pretty rouleau and picot trims bring a touch of opulent, old-fashioned charm.

For example, the Padded décolleté bra and hipster (left) are in Vichy check jacquard and stretch lace in white or pink. In the popular Amourette cut, these styles promise optimum comfort, support and elegance in a wide range of sizes. The bra gives a beautiful neckline and cleavage, and the lace hipster – with no side seams – is particularly comfortable to wear.

Deep, intense petrol blue glows alongside soft vintage shades of pink and brown. Sparkling white and dramatic black are the contrasts.

Underwired bras focus on decorative plunges and straps; briefs look new with high waists and square cut legs. The look is provocative yet elegant, bold yet romantic.

Sporting action with triaction Extreme N sports bra

High-tech fabrics such as Coolmax and Tactel/Micro were chosen for their feel-good qualities plus their ability to wick moisture (perspiration) away from the skin thus keeping the body cool, fresh and dry and neutralizing odours.

The seamfree, moulded bra cups in stretch circular knit fabric are lined with soft, stretch net tulle and have a shaped, rigid net cradle at the bottom of each for additional support. The sides and the front straps are overlaid with mesh – which while functional in aiding the circulation of air – is a decorative feature too. Mesh is also used in a V-shaped insertion at the centre front, backed with rigid tulle for stability. The straps broaden on the shoulder and are cushioned with gel inserts so they won’t dig in. The underbust band is in a firm stretch fabric with a very soft plush finish and the double hook and eye back fastening, which has a choice of three settings, is lined with velour.

First Triumph shops for Basingstoke and Exeter

One of the world’s largest bra and lingerie manufacturers, Triumph International Ltd has announced that the UK’s first Triumph concept store will be in Basingstoke, Hampshire, closely followed by a second in Exeter, Devon.

Situated in Festival Place, Hampshire’s regional shopping destination, the 115sq m Basingstoke store is due to open in September 2007. In the same month, the store in Exeter will open. This store is situated in the High Street pedestrian zone and has a trading area of 118sq m.

Branded with the new Triumph logo, the stores will sell all Triumph major brands enabling consumers and other retailers the chance to appreciate fully Triumph’s complete collections and visual merchandising.

Triumph International brands include Triumph and sloggi in Europe, and the company also includes the brands Valisère and HOM.

Visit the new stores for treats such as the new bright passion collection – Stretch tulle delicately embroidered with flowers and featuring discreet Lurex (with an “L” girls…) thread highlights gives this underwired bra a luxurious look whether you buy black or ruby (pictured).

The sides and back are in plain stretch tulle with a narrow organza frill around the lower edge and an organza bow with transparent heart decorates the centre front. The new lingerie collection includes larger sizes too!
