Apparently Elle stays healthy by drinking 6 bottles of water a day and is partial to herbs when feeling unwell.

Even the word Lingerie alone conjures up images of love, romance, frills and lusty behaviour. I suppose that makes it both provocative and evocative at the same time, but I'm not here to write an essay. Our web-dominating friend Wiki says:

Lingerie is a term for fashionable and notionally alluring undergarments. It derives from the French word linge, "washables" — as in faire le linge, "do the laundry" — and ultimately from lin for washable linen, the fabric from which European undergarments were made before the general introduction of cotton from Egypt and then from India.

I'm afraid this first paragraph takes the sexiness and mystique away. The thought of washing tends to do that to both men and us from the fairer sex. Ah, but read on:

It has been designed to allow women to alter their assets for a night out without needing to change bras. By removing the implants, the wearer can sport a modest look suitable for the office. After-hours, a simple trip to the bathroom to insert the boosters creates a sexy evening look.

I went to Bluewater just last week, and was impressed with the upmarket lingerie boutiques and general lingerie and bra shopping opportunities. Bluewater really is a great place to pop along to if you're looking for a new bra, or even some elegant lingeries for special occasions.

What to look for in a nursing bra

Becoming a mother is a beautuful time, and it seems that nowadays it is becoming increasingly techncial (!) There are dos and don'ts everywhere and must have push chairs and buggies that not only resemble, but also compete with NASA's Mars Rovers on price.

Maternity lingerie is one area which makes pretty obvious and practical sense. OK, so ignore the term lingerie for now, because it implies glamour and sexiness and - despite recent advances in style - we're really talking about bulge reduction, support briefs and nursing bras. We have compiled a short guide to nursing bras from Internet research to help you find the right bra for you.

Support. In the world of nursing bras, support is queen. You'll need it now more than ever, just to feel comfortable. The best nursing bras open in the back but have flaps in the front for access. Triumph opens autumn with retro lingerie

Seductive shapes, romantic materials and vintage colours are the key trends as Triumph revives 1950’s lingerie and brings it right up to date with design twists and the latest materials in a collection called “Newstalgia”.

The importance of texture is displayed in extravagant, semi-transparent laces and delicate ribs. Pearls, buttons, bows, ribbon lacing and pretty rouleau and picot trims bring a touch of opulent, old-fashioned charm.

For example, the Padded décolleté bra and hipster (left) are in Vichy check jacquard and stretch lace in white or pink. From the first first weekend of September 2009 until Christmas eve, customers will be able to view, try and purchase bras, knicker and other clothing from the Enamore range, directly from its new "seasonal retail premises".
