LessBounce.com, the sports bra company, have just launched their new catalogue for 2010. Not only is it packed with the widest range of sports bras in the world, new running kit and tennis gear, but it is also brimming with the best of British sports women.
The front cover features Tracy Moseley, the UK’s number one downhill mountain biker (number two in the world). Tracy has been supported by LessBounce for 4 years and is keen to encourage others to ensure they are well supported when training
whatever sport you take part in as a woman, a good sports bra is an essential part of your kit
said Tracy.
The catalogue also features Sarah Outen, the first woman and youngest person to row solo across the Indian Ocean and Flight Lieutenant Rachael Cadman who is training to be the first woman to complete the Enduroman Arch to Arc ultra triathlon. Rachael said of the catalogue photoshoot
it was inspiring to be with so many positive women.
Rachael is raising money for Help for Heroes, a cause also supported by LessBounce who are selling a crop top with the charity’s logo on – £2.50 from each one sold is given to Help for Heroes.
Running is also particularly important in 2010 for LessBounce who are supporting the Women’s Running Network’s Better Half Marathon series. The first event is on 1st April at Castle Coombe race circuit. Selaine Saxby, founder of LessBounce plans to run the event herself and said of the series
it is the first ever women’s only half marathon series and LessBounce are delighted to be supporting both the event and the literally the runners on their way around. A woman’s breasts will move over 2km during the 13 mile run which can result in irreversible damage.
LessBounce have been associated with the Women’s Running Network for the last 4 years and their new catalogue includes Paula Philip, Group Leader for the Women’s Running Network modelling the new Run bra from Shock Absorber. The Run bra is the first sports bra designed specifically for running. The bra has tested well in research at Portsmouth University where it has been shown to reduce bounce by up to 78%.
Running is one of the fastest growing sports for women in the UK and as a result LessBounce are selling a new range of running shorts and tights from Moving Comfort, designed specifically for women, up to a size 20. LessBounce also offer a free marathon club for women training for London Marathon – just email info@lessbounce.com for more information on this, or a new catalogue.
