Sloggi was delighted that music-lovers at the V-Festival in Chelmsford were rear-ly up for the UK launch of their search for the world’s best bottoms to front a new campaign.
Within hours of the festival opening, hundreds of wannabe models had strutted their stuff in the specially set-up photo studios ready to join the 72,000 bottoms that are already being voted for on www.sloggi.com
During Sloggi’s funky fashion shows that featured skateboarders and dancers, hundreds of Sloggi’s were thrown to the crowds … who couldn’t wait to model the latest designs.
A Sloggi spokesman said, “Our cheeky and very memorable ads with their line up of long legged beauties shot from behind have made sloggi synonymous with bums.
“We saw some top rears at V. It would be great if we found the world’s best bots here.â€

Sloggi, launched in 1978, has sold well over one billion pairs and annually uses fabric the size of 1,344 football pitches.
The “show me your sloggi†hunt-for-a-rump is scouring 30 countries.
Britain is currently in 5th place with 4,411 entries while Poland is way out in front with a staggering 26,518 entries.
Then comes Italy with 14,373, France with 4,998 and Germany with 4,662.
The UK final of the competition is set for London in October and the international final will be held in Munich, Germany in November.
The lucky pair that eventually win will see their behinds insured, star in a global ad campaign and pocket a 10,000 Euro prize each (£6,756).
