Eco-lingerie specialist Enamore will be opening its 'pop up shop' again this weekend, adding loads of fabulous new designs to the shop including bamboo lingerie perfect for staying in on cozy winter nights. A selection of Pants to Poverty underwear will also be on show.

It's Christmas opening dates have been extended and the Pop-up shop will now be open December 5 & 6th, and evey day from December 12th to Christmas Eve! Just hop on down to 104 Walcot St. Bath, BA1 5BG and wrap up warm!

Even the word Lingerie alone conjures up images of love, romance, frills and lusty behaviour. I suppose that makes it both provocative and evocative at the same time, but I'm not here to write an essay. Our web-dominating friend Wiki says:

Lingerie is a term for fashionable and notionally alluring undergarments. It derives from the French word linge, "washables" — as in faire le linge, "do the laundry" — and ultimately from lin for washable linen, the fabric from which European undergarments were made before the general introduction of cotton from Egypt and then from India.

I'm afraid this first paragraph takes the sexiness and mystique away. The thought of washing tends to do that to both men and us from the fairer sex. Ah, but read on:

British lingerie manufacturer Ultimo has launched a bra this week that it claims to increase a women’s bust by up to two cup sizes by the simple addition of two specially-moulded silicone pouches.

It has been designed to allow women to alter their assets for a night out without needing to change bras. By removing the implants, the wearer can sport a modest look suitable for the office. After-hours, a simple trip to the bathroom to insert the boosters creates a sexy evening look.



Ultimo's boss Michelle Mone said:

The best thing about the new Mega Boost Day to Night Bra is that you can change your cleavage on a whim and it's completely hassle free. It's the perfect solution if you're heading off after work and don't have time to go home and change.

Unlike other “chicken fillets”, the inserts in the bra mould to the skin to create a “natural, authentic rounded shape”.

They are also said to be the first silicone boosters that come in their own bra, rather than being sold separately.

The Ultimo Mega Boost Day to Night bra comes in three colours and costs £24 from Ultimo's own snazzy website www.ultimo.co.uk. No sign of it at other leading lingerie retailers just yet but if you read this little blog at a later date take a look at Ultimo on BraShop and I'm sure stocks will follow shortly to the likes of Figleaves.

I went to Bluewater just last week, and was impressed with the upmarket lingerie boutiques and general lingerie and bra shopping opportunities. Bluewater really is a great place to pop along to if you're looking for a new bra, or even some elegant lingeries for special occasions.

The first store I stumbled accross was Myla who have stores throughout the UK but opened their doors at Bluewater on Saturday 23 May.
